Artist Application

At Event Entertainers we are predominately Music Agents who deal with cover bands, listing exclusive and non-exclusive artists on our roster.  Whilst other cover band agencies work with session musicians that provide a ‘flexible’ line up for each act, we work specifically with Artists or Band Managers who are dedicated to their own act in the entertainment industry. We take great pride in our work representing our Artists on the path to success in their careers.

We have strong relationships with a network of Event Planners, Wedding Planners, Agents, Production Agencies, and the music-loving public. We regularly source quality opportunities for Artists looking for work as Wedding Musicians, Corporate Musicians, on Cruise Ships, and as performers in the Events and Entertainment industries. Our buyers rely on our professional eye as experienced talent agents to direct them to reliable Artists who provide 5-star performances every time. Our Artists are regularly seen at weddings, corporate functions, festivals, fairs, concerts, parties, and cruise ships.

As managers we represent our clients before private and public buyers, handle all bookings, promotions, negotiate contracts, handle finances, organise travel, etc., and generally take care of all business matters related to the careers of our Artists in the Events and Wedding industries. A typical agreement between us and our Artists includes a percentage fee paid per-gig from the earnings of the Artist. We typically charge 10–20% of income earned through live performances.  However, there are many variations depending upon the level of management and business skills we provide to our Artists, and the support options we can extend for more experienced talent are extensive.

Responsibilities of your busy career with our Talent Agency are often divided among Josie and Tim who manage various aspects of your musical career. This can go beyond just the role of your booking agent and into videography, photography, graphic design, publicity, marketing and promotion, and accounting. 

Our role as Talent Agents is to focus on developing a quality reputation and broaden career prospects for each of our Artists.  As an Artist’s career develops, our responsibilities grow as Talent Agents and our role working in line with your career path becomes increasingly more important.  Our job is to assist singers, songwriters, and instrumentalists in molding a career, by finding quality live gig opportunities, and developing relationships with event planners, wedding planners, agents, and the music-loving public.  We are mindful you may wish to balance developing your original music or other career goals and we are happy to work harmoniously with you towards those goals.
