Ayisha and Thomas’ Oceanfront Beach-Inspired Wedding

An oceanfront wedding wouldn’t be complete without a little bit of sun and that’s exactly what Ayisha and Thomas got for their beach-inspired, oceanfront wedding at The Headlands Hotel — a beachfront venue with a picturesque, panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean on the South Coast. The light and airy photographs only showcase a fraction of the love and excitement that everyone felt on the 5th of December. Every element from getting ready, to the couple’s post-ceremony portraits are beautifully captured here by Better Together Photo Co.

Getting Ready on the day

With separate suites, both Thomas and Ayisha began the day getting ready at the venue with their bridal party. Thomas and his groomsman, and Ayisha accompanied by her three bridesmaids. Thomas was dressed in a dark blue patterned tuxedo jacket, a nod to the natural colors of their beachfront nuptials. Ayisha’s bridesmaids wore light peach-colored dresses. Ayisha dawned an A-line, off-shoulder, long-sleeved wedding dress complete with sparkle tulle, floral lace, and beading.

About their Oceanfront Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony was set oceanside with a beautiful view of the rolling waves behind their ceremony arch. Their arbour was draped with flowing fabric and accented with pink florals and greenery y Hey Petal. Guests gathered as Luke and Blacky from Luke Zanc Trio performed a live rendition of “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles as the bridal party to made their way down the aisle. Ayisha walked out to Ed Sheeran’s “Tenerife Sea,” hand-in-hand with her father, as she made her way to the altar.  Their Ceremony was officiated by their wonderful Celebrant, Amy Watson – Marriage Maker.

The Signing Of The Register and Congratulations!

The two were all smiles during the ceremony as they exchanged vows. Sealing their bond with a kiss, George Ezra’s “Blame It On Me” and “Talk” by Khalid were performed during the signing. Complete with a bubble exit, the two beamed with happiness as they made their way back up the aisle to “Castle On The Hill” by Ed Sheeran, being greeted by friends and family to congratulate the couple! Before heading into their reception to celebrate the evening away, Thomas and Ayisha took their wedding party aside to capture stunning portraits on the rocks. Here’s a quick glimpse.

Their beach-inspired reception at Headlands Hotel

Luke Zanc announced the new Mr. and Mrs. with the Luke Zanc Trio accompanying their entrance with Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance.” Their reception felt light and effortless with white, accents of gold, and lots of greenery, including a stunning arrangement that spanned the length of the head table from Hey Petal.

After toasts concluded, the newlyweds cut their cake – a two-tier, ombre blue and white frosted cake with a variety of seashells. Their Cake-Cutting song was Maroon 5’s “Sugar” followed by their first dance “Teenage Dream”, both performed by the Luke Zanc Trio.

It was a day by the water to remember, with friends, family, and great music.
Thanks to Luke Zanc and his band! Congratulations Ayisha and Thomas on your Oceanfront Beach-Inspired Wedding!
