Harrison Rhodes is a Brisbane vocalist, acoustic guitarist and live-looping performer, available solo or as a duo for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across South East Queensland. His sets bring familiar songs into an acoustic setting, with the flexibility to move from relaxed background music to an upbeat evening.
For a wedding ceremony, drinks on the lawn or a room full of colleagues, the music needs to suit the moment. Harrison draws on a repertoire of more than 130 songs across different decades and genres, creating space for conversation early on and building the energy as your event unfolds.
Live looping adds another dimension to Harrison’s acoustic performances. By building and layering musical phrases as he plays, he brings extra rhythm and texture to his solo sound. The result can feel intimate and stripped back, or fuller and more energetic, depending on the song and the atmosphere you have in mind.
Harrison Rhodes combines this approach with formal vocal training: he holds a Bachelor of Music, majoring in voice, from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. As a full-time musician, he performs regularly in hospitality venues and at events throughout South East Queensland, with experience ranging from university functions to weddings and private celebrations.
Book Harrison solo for vocals, acoustic guitar and live looping, or explore a duo for your celebration. Both formats give you a live acoustic option; the Event Entertainers team can help you choose the lineup and schedule that suit your venue, guest numbers and plans.
His approach extends beyond the performance. Harrison brings experience communicating with clients, venues and event teams, alongside a professional sound and lighting setup. Equipment requirements, performance times and travel arrangements are confirmed for your booking, so the practical details fit your event as well as the music.
