Joe’s love of performing began at home, inspired by watching his father play in a band. He taught himself drums at 12, picked up a guitar soon afterwards and began developing the voice and style that would shape his career.
Busking in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall gave Joe an early education in connecting with an audience. Those street performances helped open doors to support gigs for artists including John Farnham, Lionel Richie and Boyz II Men, taking him from passing crowds to major concert stages.
Joe reached the grand final of Australia’s Got Talent in 2012 before returning to television on The Voice Australia in 2015. His audition with Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire” earned him a place on the Madden Brothers’ team, and he progressed to the grand final, where he performed his original song “Invincible”.
A recording deal with Universal followed, alongside his debut album, A Thousand Lifetimes, which reached the ARIA top five.
Alongside his recording and television career, Joe has continued performing at weddings, private celebrations and corporate events, with clients including L’Oréal, Swisse and Rebel Sport. He brings that breadth of experience to every booking, combining confident stage presence with the personal connection of a live acoustic performance.
