The people who spend their weekends bringing weddings to life deserve an afternoon to enjoy one another’s company.
On 25 August 2026, Sydney’s wedding community gathered at Ripples Chowder Bay for Love Fest. Created by Days Like These Events, the networking lunch brought planners, photographers, celebrants, florists and fellow suppliers together over food, drinks and live music.
Event Entertainers sponsored the Sydney event, with Luke Michael providing the live soundtrack.

Why we supported Love Fest
Wedding work is built on relationships. Knowing the people behind the businesses helps us understand how they work, communicate clearly and make considered recommendations for our couples.
Love Fest makes space for those relationships to grow. There is time to catch up with familiar faces, meet someone whose work you have admired and have a conversation beyond the details of the next booking.
That is something we were pleased to support. As working musicians and entertainment consultants, Tim and Josie know how much collaboration sits behind a well-run wedding. Spending time with the wider community is part of that work, too.

Luke Michael’s live soundtrack
For a gathering centred on connection, the music needs to leave room for people.
Luke Michael joined the Sydney celebration through Event Entertainers, bringing live performance into an afternoon designed for conversation and company.

It is a brief that has plenty in common with wedding welcome drinks and canapés. Guests are arriving, finding their people and settling into the occasion. The entertainment helps establish the atmosphere while allowing those interactions to happen naturally.
For us, that is where a considered music recommendation starts: with the purpose of the gathering and the experience of the people in it.
White outfits, red details and a waterfront lunch
The day’s white dress code gave the wedding industry a rare opportunity to wear white together. At Ripples Chowder Bay, red florals and personalised stationery added colour to the tables, with the waterfront setting providing the backdrop.

The rain made an appearance, too. The organiser’s reflections afterwards returned to the people: the collaborators who contributed their skills, the friendships renewed and the new connections made.
From flowers and photography to cheesecake and photo-booth keepsakes, the afternoon reflected the work of a generous collective. Chris Miles’ photographs capture those details alongside the faces behind them.
