WHAT

Hire A Bridesmaid have created a practical Wedding Planning night, to answer your questions and help you plan your Big Day!

Think of this more like a discussion or Q&A session which gathers the best of the best, experts in each of their fields,  to share their knowledge and best tips for planning your day, including insights into:

1. How to get the most value from your wedding supplier

2. Things couples commonly forget on the day

3. What- and what not- to do: advice from experience

4. How to choose the right supplier for you (without having to contact 1000 people!)

5. Three top tips to help make your day smooth….er than a baby’s bottom!

PLUS, we will have an open floor at the end so YOU can ask your wedding-related questions. Literally anything, we’re happy to answer!

THIS IS NOT A SALES EVENT. I repeat, we are not going to sell you anything on the night!

You don’t have to “enter a draw” or “book tonight for a discount”, there’s none of that usual “wedding fair” stuff. This event is purely to give you on-the-pulse information about the different aspects of planning a wedding, from actual experts who all have years of experience in the industry.

Not everyone is able to hire a wedding planner, we get that! So let us help you make planning your wedding simple and stress-free (as it should be).


WHY

We have attended MANY wedding fairs ourselves; as exhibitors, as guests, and with clients. We surveyed couples and groups who’d attended wedding fairs and their responses were that they felt “overwhelmed”. There are always so many suppliers from each category, and you end up with a pile of paperwork and flyers that you either don’t look at again or can’t remember which card belonged to the people you spoke to!

We decided that the industry Wedding Fair/Wedding Expo model needed a shake up! So we came up with a way to actually help you plan your wedding by providing practical advice, tailored to each wedding category, to help you sort through the infinite Google searches, emails and advice from friends and family (wanted and unwanted!).

PLUS you’ll have a chance to ask specific questions related to your and your wedding!

Weddings became LIFE for Kerstyn almost 4 years ago when she saw her dear friend completely stressed out on her wedding day! She vowed then and there that no other couple should ever feel like that on their wedding day!

A true professional and gentleman, Jack’s specialty is capturing the soul and feeling of your wedding day in a relaxed fun way. With over 6 years’ experience, his knowledge is an asset to any wedding planning journey.

Rychelle Carter – Decor and Styling – Lovestoned Styling and Bridal

A passion for fashion and style lead Rychelle to her dream job as a wedding stylist and decor hirer. Her unique style and relaxed vibe brightens any room, and that’s just her personality! With 10 years’ experience (woah) and hundreds of events under her belt, Rychelle is expert level 100.

Nicky Surnicky – Celebrant – Marry Me Nicky

After having conducted over 100+ unique and personalised ceremonies, Nicky loves her “job” as it allows her to meet and connect with some amazing couples from all walks of life. Your ceremony will be sorted after we pick Nicky’s brains!

Kacey Lee – Cake Designer – Picket Fence Cake Design

There is SO much work that goes into making your wedding cake, and Kacey is our expert on what to expect from your baker, costings, delivery and how to pick the best flavours (get a sample box!).

Rachel Pitt – Make Up Artist – The Makeup Society

Not only talented with a brush and armed with some amazing products, Rachel is brimming with experience in weddings and specifically, the inner-workings on the morning-of. We’re “blushing” that she’s sharing her wisdom with us!

Josephine Ison – Director & Vocalist – Event Entertainers & Duke Music

Director/Singer/Organiser-of-people and Music Chooser of the Century, Josie is our expert in all things Entertainment for your wedding! From choosing your best entrance music to the best bangers on the DF, josie is also going to chat about the pros and cons of a band VS DJ.


TICKETS

Tickets are $22.50 each, or $32.50 per couple. So bring your other half / your bestie / your Mum and don’t be afraid to ask questions on the night!
