Polly and Christos’ romantic wedding at Gunners Barracks

Our delightful clients Polly and Christos recently married to the sounds of our artists the Yeah Nah Yeah.
Event Entertainers worked together to plan and provide the music for their wedding ceremony and canapés service at picturesque and historic waterfront venue Gunners’ Barracks, overlooking Sydney Harbour. The Gunners’ Barracks is an exclusive North Shore waterfront location, featuring magnificently restored spaces and talented team makes the venue a perfect choice to host birthday parties, anniversary dinners, baby showers, kitchen teas and engagements parties. It’s panoramic harbour views over Sydney Harbour are part of what make it a truly spectacular destination.

Gunners’ Barracks function spaces offer an array of bespoke catering options from High Tea parties, breakfasts, lunches, dinners to cocktail parties. You have the option to host your event exclusively or host a smaller celebration non exclusively in the drawing room, harbour terrace or main dining room. We ensure the band plays the perfect soundtrack on your special day

At Event Entertainers, we take the time to sit down with each of our couples prior to their wedding day, to provide a personalised wedding music planning service. By working closely with our couples, our planning sessions bring out not only great ideas, but perfectly matched songs for our couples and our artists.  This ensures the perfect soundtrack to their special day. Every wedding ceremony is different, but there are a few things that stay the same. One of those things is the music. The right music can really set the mood and make your guests feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

For their Gunners Barracks Wedding, our Bride Polly, walked down the aisle with her parents to Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah” performed live by our duo the Yeah Nah Yeah. It was the perfect intimate setting for their romantic Ceremony and the celebrations that followed.

Polly and Christos worked with Biophilia Blooms to create their colourful floral arrangements, a special nod to their history, Polly explains “The first bouquet Christos gave me was Hydrangeas and Dahlias. There were our flowers of choice and will always be “our flowers”.
