Jiaxin and Da’s Classic Intimate Byron Bay Wedding at Deux Belettes

If a French-style wedding with accents of classic architecture has been on your wedding vision board, you need to see Jiaxin and Da’s October Byron Bay wedding. They completely embodied this style in an intimate gathering with six of their family members in attendance to witness the two become husband and wife.

Their luxurious wedding venue in the sunny Byron Bay

Their cottage style venue, Deux Belettes, is where the two tied the knot. The top floor of the chateau, complete with hand-painted furniture, embraced the French architecture and made for a beautiful getting ready space for Jiaxin. With moments captured in both color and black and white, by In A Maze ensured their entire album is filled with timeless images.

Jiaxin and Da took portraits together before changing their attire for their ceremony. Jiaxin wore a Robe De K tulle skirt ball gown featuring a square neckline and sleeves and accessorized her look with a pearl veil. Da dawned a classic, custom tuxedo.

Their Ceremony feat Guitarist Vocalist, Tommy Novak

As they prepared to meet at the altar, Tommy Novak set the scene with live music before our bride walked down the aisle to “The Wedding March.”
For their intimate wedding ceremony, Guests sat across a fountain while the couple wed under an intricate archway with statues lining either side.

While their celebrant, Benjamin Carlyle, performed their ceremony in English Jiaxin and Da said aloud their vows in Chinese. Their families were able to follow along with their wedding ceremony on a sheet in their native language.

After officially being announced husband and wife, the two came together for the signing of their certificate. We know how overcome with emotion a couple can be after saying I-Do, and Da embraced this emotion as he broke down in tears of joy upon signing. Jiaxin’s tears of joy followed and their mothers comforted the two, holding hands and embracing one another. These are the moments that make you stop and realize how truly beautiful this time in a couple’s life is. All majestically set in the intimate wedding surrounds of Deux Belettes, the perfect Byron Bay wedding location.

A few gorgeous wedding photos, then onto their Reception

Jiaxin and Da snuck off to capture some more portraits together followed by Jiaxin changing into a beautiful, floral embellished lace gown from Liz Martinez for canapés and drinks to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs!

The reception was intimate and romantic, taking place in a stone archway with florals and palms accenting the ceiling, candlelight, and a variety of textures and fabrics draping the table, all styled by the talented Upside Down Events to bring their modern, classic vision to life. Tommy Novak set the mood for the evening with live music echoing through the space.

A small list of wedding guests is still the perfect number

From enjoying a beautiful meal together to toasts to the newlyweds from their families, Jiaxin had one final look to change into—an intricately beaded dress—before cutting the cake and their first dance to “Fly Me To The Moon” by Westlife, to kick off the rest of the night under the stars.

From classic to modern romantic, whatever your style, we have music for your wedding mood. Get in touch and let us wow you and your guests with music you won’t forget!

Congratulations Jiaxin and Da on your wonderful intimate wedding!
